Untold stories from the people who built the 1990s Internet, in your inbox.

The IP Podcast — short for The Internet Pioneers Podcast — records the untold stories of the people who actually built the Internet in the 1990s — the unsung engineers, sysadmins, product managers, and operators who leased the lines, stood up the modem banks, and kept the NOCs running at 3 a.m. Most of them are people you have never heard of. That is the point. If you want to know when the next conversation lands, the mailing list is the most direct way to hear it from us.

When you subscribe, you hear from us when it matters and only when it matters. One email when the show launches. One email for each new episode, naming the guest and a one-line hook so you know whether it's for you. That is the whole of it — no promotional mail, no third-party sharing, no tracking pixels in your inbox. We send roughly 2–4 emails per month during an active season, and less between seasons. Your email address stays with the show, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
